Integrated Wastewater Treatment Solution for Chongzuo City Expressway Service
Type:
EPC

Project Description
Introduction:
In 2021, Globaluf provided an integrated wastewater treatment solution for the Chongzuo City Expressway Service Area in Guangxi, China. This case study highlights the design, implementation, and long-term operational success of our advanced AAO+MBR (Anaerobic-Anoxic-Oxic + Membrane Bioreactor) wastewater treatment system. The project demonstrates Globaluf's commitment to providing efficient, environmentally responsible, and cost-effective water treatment solutions to address the unique needs of our clients.
Client:
Chongzuo City Expressway Service Area, Guangxi Province, China.
Challenge:
The Chongzuo City Expressway Service Area required a reliable and compact wastewater treatment system to handle the wastewater generated by its facilities. The system needed to meet stringent Class A discharge standards outlined in GB18918-2002 for municipal wastewater treatment plants, while also minimizing the footprint and operational costs. The local government and service area were seeking a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution.
Solution:
Globaluf designed and implemented an integrated wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 150 tons per day. The system incorporates the following key components:
Here is the main process.
Key Benefits:

Conclusion:
The Chongzuo City Expressway Service Area project demonstrates Globaluf's expertise in providing innovative and sustainable wastewater treatment solutions. Our AAO+MBR system provides a cost-effective and reliable solution for meeting stringent effluent standards while minimizing land use and operational costs. This case study serves as a testament to our commitment to delivering high-quality water treatment solutions that benefit our clients and the environment.
- Pre-treatment: Screening and grit removal to remove large solids and debris.
- AAO (Anaerobic-Anoxic-Oxic) Process: Biological treatment for the removal of organic matter, nitrogen, and phosphorus. This process effectively reduces the levels of BOD (Biochemical Oxygen Demand), COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), and nutrients in the wastewater.
- MBR (Membrane Bioreactor): An advanced filtration technology that uses membranes to separate solids from the treated water. The MBR process provides a higher quality effluent compared to conventional clarification methods.

- High-Quality Effluent: The AAO+MBR process consistently produces effluent that meets or exceeds the stringent Class A discharge standards of GB18918-2002. This ensures the protection of the receiving water body and the environment.
- Compact Design: The integrated system requires minimal space, making it ideal for locations with limited land availability, such as the expressway service area.
- Cost-Effective Operation: The system is designed for automated operation, reducing labor costs and minimizing the need for specialized personnel.
- Reliable Performance: The system has been operating continuously for over ten years, demonstrating its reliability and durability.
- Sustainable Solution: The treatment process reduces the environmental impact of the service area by minimizing the discharge of pollutants into the environment.
